Anna Kolusniewski, (owner/principal designer) has always had a
love of glamorous jewellery. Inspired by antique designs, she began making her own jewellery from a very young age. In the early 90’s, Anna moved to Melbourne from Adelaide, to further her silversmithing and jewellery design studies. In 1992, she established her own label: ELYSIAN CREATIONS, specialising in Bridal, Gothic and Theatrical styles.
Anna currently runs her designer costume jewellery business from
her studio in Melbourne (Australia); her primary artistic focus is
specialised design and production for couturier bridal designers
and theatrical productions.
Anna Kolusniewski is recognised as one of Australia’s leading costume jewellery designers. Her work is regularly represented in fashion, bridal and theatrical exhibitions and parades, including The Australian Fashion Industry Awards, Gown of the Year and Melbourne Fringe Fashion. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and her work has been recognized with various awards including: Australian Costumers’ Guild and Melbourne Fringe. She has also been commissioned by a variety of media production organizations and film companies. Elysian Creations regularly participates in international trade fairs, most recently SKIN TWO EXPO, (London 2003 & 2006).
Recently Anna has expanded her business to include teaching jewellery
design and retailing vintage clothing and accessories through her
clothing label “Anna K” at the Chapel Street Bazaar, Melbourne.

Elysian Creations designs are manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. Each
jewellery product is made from the highest quality materials, including: Austrian
crystals (Swarovski), pewter castings, brass stampings and vintage
beads. The pieces are plated in 22 carat gold, pure silver, rhodium
and black nickel.
The costume jewellery range spans a broad variety
of tastes and periods: From the regalia of medieval pieces to the
opulence of the Victorian era, to the classic lines of Art Deco. The
more theatrical pieces include: Erte-inspired bodice exotic burlesque
feather headdresses and vampish gothic creations. |
